AROUND THE CIRCLE PASSING DRILL

  1.  Players 1, 2, 3 and 4 are positioned at the neutral zone face-off dots.
  2. Player 5 moves around the face-off circle; he can go in any direction.
  3. Players, 1,2,3 and 4 have the option of passing to player 5 or to any other player.
  4. Passes must be made quickly.
  5. Players must always be ready for the pass.

CALL FOR PUCKS

 

Receiving: STICK BLADE ON THE ICE AND SQAURE TO ON COMING PUCK.

–  HANDS AWAY FROM THE BODY

– STICK BLADE IN FRONT OF TOES.

– CUSHION, CRADLE OR ABSORB THE PUCK ON CONTACT.

–  PLAYER NOW IN READY POSITION TO PASS, SHOOT OR DEKE.

–  LIKE CATCHING A BALL.
