WILDCATS 3 ON 3 (LOW) TRANSITION

PART 1

  1. The drill starts with a three vs. three down low, with F2 and F3 waiting (in DFZ positioning) for a transition.  Players can practise low support DFZ coverage.
  2. The coach will spot a 2nd puck.
  3. When the triangular players win the 2nd puck, they will get a pass to F2 and F3.
  4. The 3 F’s skate to the the other end and execute a triple drive.

PART 2

  1. Whistle – The coach will spot a 2nd puck, the 3 triangle F’s will come back, regroup, pick up the puck and attack 3 ‘s (2 D and 1 F); they will play three on three low at the other end (as in part 1)
  2. The drill is continuous.
